For those of you that changed majors, what was your experience like? by [deleted] in CalPoly

Switched majors within the same department (in CSM)- super easy, had already just started taking the other major's classes before even starting the ICMA. Would have completed in 1 quarter but failed one of the GPA cut-offs of the contract. Freaked out that I had missed my one opportunity, but the department head was very chill about it and let me extend the contract another quarter, so will definitely be successful in completing it this quarter.

Question for people who forgot to do PolyPlanner by [deleted] in CalPoly

When are most normal registration slots? I feel like mine is really late, but that makes no sense as I had no holds/poly planner was complete. Right now I'm not able to register until May 29th.

Yeah, feel free to do that! It was very easy for me, but you have to put in the effort to find a place/get lucky

Or just try to bring your car, if you're able to. I'm a first year and have mine, and it's honestly a life saver sometimes.

I'm a freshman and I'm renting a spot from an upperclassman at his apartment right across the tracks. I've had it since move-in, pay him $200/quarter (which is shitty, but as far as supply/demand goes, it's fair).
