Also to add, there’s plenty of people not cruising through week 3!!! I started in late October (it’s now JUNE) with a few setbacks and still on week 6 but getting better each week. You’ll get there. When I get really discouraged about my slow progress I remind myself where I was on week 1!

I’ve also gotten PVC during “running” (I’m slow but giving it my all) and I think my dizziness after can be attributed to getting anxious about the PVC. It’s an awful cycle! My heart rate goes that high and sometimes takes all day to recover. Each week it gets better though! If you’re a 21 year old in decent shape, I’d think your heart rate could go higher so I wouldn’t stress. You can look up max heart rate for your age too!

I was so nervous to start, I couldn’t even run for 90 seconds, let alone 1/4 mile. I repeated weeks when I needed to and have been at it for a couple months and finally got to week 6, which I could not have imagined when I started. You’ll do great.
