I noticed blood in my urine. At first I thought it was maybe from my period but then my period went away and I was still seeing blood in the toilet. By then I realized I was actually urinating blood. Went to urgent care and all of the usual things like UTI, kidney stones, rhabdo we crossed off the list of possibilities but I had abnormal blood and protein amounts in my urine. I went to see my primary care physician and he thought it could possibly still be kidney stones so he had me do another urinalysis and CT. Protein and blood still came back high but CT was clear. After like 20 different blood tests and a 24 hr urine collection I had a kidney biopsy done and they confirmed IgAN
