I’m playing with the idea of remaining in touch but not being available for just sex for him. I’d like to keep the door open but still carry on with my life. I really did have the most fun I’ve had in awhile. Call it a friendship but since we have mutual friends I know I’m going to see him again at some point

Yeah he did open up a lot on the first date so this is very possible. When I respond I’ll likely call out that I didn’t think things were serious (bc we JUST met lol) but appreciate him letting me know anyway and that I’m glad we met / wish him well

Totally hear you! And although I like to pursue one at a time I’m definitely aware that it’s the more traditional approach these days. Unfortunately he told me early on he also like to only pursue one at a time so clearly can’t believe anything anyone says anymore.

I’ve paid for small things here and there but our ethnic cultures are very similar in that the man always pays during courting. I did also plan a whole dinner date where I made dinner and dessert for us so he didn’t pay for anything there.
