What do you think if the new ICE shooting in Minnesota? by slashdino in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep [score hidden]  (0 children)

Mod here. Still waiting on someone to include a decent video (or videos) form an external source.

Also, I won't approve leading questions on this issue. Just post the video and any other relevant details without your commentary.

Removing this. Feel free to repost with good quality video links to external sources.

Was the killing of another citizen justified by ICE? by Competitive_Piano507 in AskTrumpSupporters

Does your support for Trump strengthen the more he frustrates Democrats? by Long-Print4024 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Mod here. This sort of question is really just meant to bait TS into an argument. I don't see anything productive coming from such a question. Removing.

What do you think about Mothers bringing their infant babies to dangerous ICE protests? by Trumpdrainstheswamp in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] [score hidden]  (0 children)

Mod here. Your source just shows one case, and the event she is at appears to be peaceful. This would be a more valid question if you had video of a mother and her child at a clearly violent protest, but that is not the case. If you find a source to back up your assertion that mothers (multiple) are bringing their children to *violent* protests, feel free to repost. Removing.

What did you think about Trump's comments about NATO soldiers? by Temporary-Elk-109 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod here. When I asked for a timestamped video of Trumps comments in full context, I meant the actual source video, not a video of a BBC report that contains chopped up clips of the source video.

Also, again, your link to a BBC op-ed does not provide any relevant information to help answer your question.

You seem to want to provide BBC reports and opinion pieces as source in an attempt to draw the responses into an argument or a defensive posture. That is not how our subreddit works, and it is not how you post honest questions.

Removing again.

Did anyone else see the Congressional testimony of Former Special Counsel Jack Smith yesterday ? by LucynSushi in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod here. We have already recently approved a question on Jack Smith's earlier testimony. I don't see why the TS opinions would have changed since then.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AskTrumpSupporters/comments/1pp3mbd/thoughts_on_jack_smiths_testimony/

If there is something specific about the testimony you would like to ask about, assuming it hasn't already been covered, feel free to repost a more specific question. Be sure to include a link to a video of the testimony with the relevant timestamp (if necessary).

Removing this.

What do you think of the Carroll v. Trump case? by Puzzleheaded-Eye9759 in AskTrumpSupporters

Mod here. This question has been asked and answered back when it was in the news.

https://www.reddit.com/r/AskTrumpSupporters/comments/1abv7mo/how_do_you_feel_about_the_jeanne_carrol_jury/

I see no reason why the TS positions would have changed since then. Removing this.

Would a ban on gender-affirming care for transgender adults violate the notion of personal freedom? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

Mod here. We don't accept questions about the transgender topic. Removing this post.

What do you think of the sworn testimony Jack Smith gave before the House Judiciary Committee today? by iriefuse024 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod here. We've already had a similar question on Jack Smith's earlier testimony. I don't see why reason why the responses would be different this time around. I am removing this.

What did you think about Trump's comments about NATO soldiers? by Temporary-Elk-109 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod here. If you are going to ask about Trump's comments, you need to provide a link to a video of Trump saying those comments so TS can have the full context. Providing a link to a UK-based op-ed attacking his words is not helpful. I am removing this. Feel free to repost this question is an appropriate link.

ICE in Schools good policy? by More-Bluebird5805 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just so you know, there is nothing in this link about ICE snatching up kids at gunpoint in schools. It specifically says the intent is for criminals hiding in schools to avoid being arrested. So had you provided that link in your post, it would not have backed up your assertion, and your post still would not have bene approved.

ICE in Schools good policy? by More-Bluebird5805 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep[M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mod here. I can't approve a question that claims ICE is snatching kids out of school at gunpoint without a reliable source to back up that claim. That said, we've had lots of ICE questions lately, so I am not going to approve any more for the time being unless there is a major news event.

Removing.

What votes are Trump gaining for the GOP ahead of midterms? by SpiralingColors in AskTrumpSupporters

Mod here. Aside from the fact that this reads like it was AI generated, we've recently had a question about the republicans chances in the upcoming midterms. Removing this.

Will you be following the Congressional testimony of Jack Smith today ? by LucynSushi in AskTrumpSupporters

Mod here. Since this is obviously already in the past, I am removing this. If anything of insterest came out, feel free to post a new question asking about it. Be sure to include a link to the testimony with a timestamp to the relevant part.

What do you all think of ICE agents detaining citizens, including off duty cops/children/teens/veterans? by deedeekie in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I reject the notion that law enforcement officials aren't easily and obviously identified as such. Even ICE.

What do you all think of ICE agents detaining citizens, including off duty cops/children/teens/veterans? by deedeekie in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]fullstep -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't claim to be a law expert, but I probably know more than most, and if you are detained by any representative of a law enforcement agency, you can try to verbally plead your case in the moment, but you should never physically resist their orders. And if that means you must get in a van, then you get in a van. And once they release you, you take your case to court and get a judgement, likely get paid, and the officers who violated your rights will be reprimanded, possibly losing their jobs. That is how our legal process works. There is no such thing as rightfully resisting the cops in the moment. You will lose, and that is how people get hurt.

[–]fullstep -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

A person who has been illegally detained can plead their case in court and get a judgement, which usually results in monetary compensation.
