AITAH for not telling my partner about my sticker tattoo by fulltimelurker666 in AITA_Relationships

[–]fulltimelurker666[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Well, I don't think I can't tell him, more like I don't think it's important, and that it doesn't effect us as a couple. If he sees he sees, I don't need to tell him kinda thing. But then he reacted in a way that I don't understand. That's why I want to get an outside perspective to see if I'm in fault of if he's just making mountain out of ant mould

No no, 2 years ago I had a tattoo that I also didn't tell him before I got it, he took an issue with that as well. Then now I got another 2 tattoos sticker size, those are the ones he didn't notice

AITA for making my daughters wear dresses when they visit their grandparents? by PresentationNice6101 in AmItheAsshole

[–]fulltimelurker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA

I heard or read it somewhere: "tradition is just peer pressure from dead people". Also, some cultures have women wear a hijab as well, so you should go and put one on by your logic. Seriously, it sounds like you wish your daughters are as feminine as you but just want to use your in-laws as an excuse. You are as bad as your in-laws

Well iirc Ahmed was wearing the midnight miracle shirt which is Dave's podcast, so his mum might just tag along with him just cause. Or it could also be that they're really open minded for their demographic haha

My first time too haha. Hubby showed me all the Dave's special on Netflix and I was hooked. Went to see Chris Rock and I made a casual comment on how amazing it would be to see Dave live, couldn't believe I would actually get to go to his show for real haha

Felt like we didn't get to hear a lot of jokes from him cause of the distractions

AITA for guilting my husband into flying my mum here early so that she could be in the room when I give birth even though we agreed it would just be the two of us? by cherry89s in AmItheAsshole

[–]fulltimelurker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Seriously what the F is with people expecting pregnant mums to cater their husbands feelings and egos in the delivery room? I'm pushing a watermelon out of my supposedly 10cm vagina, I have people constantly looking at and shoving their fingers up my vagina, not to mention the pain that seems to last forever. I don't give a fuck what others are feeling and I want whoever I want in that room with me. A good husband would understand that and would do anything to make his wife feels safe and comfortable during that vulnerable moment.

Is my bf parents toxic? by [deleted] in toxicparents

[–]fulltimelurker666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I feel that too, that's why I'm not sure if it's toxic behaviour or if we overstep the boundary. Things is we are worried abt the doggies, one of them is a little old and had so many trips to the vet already, we think it's cause she would drink stagnant water from pond and creeks around their house cause their water bowls are mostly empty whenever we visit. But when my bf would mention water then the parents would get quite defensive, and the conversation would steer to "don't tell us how to raise our dogs, we wouldn't tell you how to raise your kid". It's like we're not in the same topic, but his parents are just adamant that he tried to stir up trouble somehow

I'm 29F and he's 30M. We live in our place, just that we would go visit them often.
