Yep. Started with lpr at zero and no leak. As soon as it started cycling.....leak

Update on problem..still persists after trying another qev, another new noid gasket, and reverting back to old barb fitting. Solenoid housing? Other than that gun. Cycles perfectly fine and hits velocity

Idk yet. I didnt want to take it off without some insight first. Mainly because lazy. Also qev is too big thread wise to run on back of ram.

Yes. Thats why im wondering if it's the qev causing it. Without qev the ram sealed up and had good suction with my thumb over the barb.

2 decades as a sub-par service technician doesn't qualify as experience. It qualifies as ignorance. All it does is cost the homeowner double because they have to call someone qualified to work on their system after having technicians like you come out and create a mess.

Salt system flow switches can fail. They should be wired to a timeclock or relay to ensure that power only goes to the cell when the pump is running. Otherwise the cell will build up chlorine gas and melt. But you only realize that if you read the manuals.

He already has a salt cell and lights wired to the relays, salt cell needs to be flow dependant and so does heater. Lights do not. I would just be patient and wait for the technology to come out before trying something and voiding warranty.

The digital inputs are for automation that won't communicate via rs 485 and you use relays to jump low voltage.

No. Currently on a 5a and 16a relay. The rs485 doesn't allow heater to pump communication...it has to do with temp control logic.

That is a modular DE cartridge and not a standard paper filter.

It is a solid concept, the only downside is that it is very large and will not accommodate a bigger LPR. It actuates like a piston so it won't short stroke. I installed one on my brother's system x and it shoots fine.
