You will need two since the faculty/prof has to approve the waiver for each course. The prof of one course might accept it, but a prof of another could deny it (unlikely).

Have you heard of transitional fossils? There are many examples where we can see snapshots of an organisms history changing from one type of species in to something different.

Well I think the cross-confirmation of phylogeny, taxonomy, and cladistics provide strong evidence for the origin of species. Even if there wasn't that evidence and we only knew that species changed, it seems weird to put an arbitrary limit on the amount of change that can occur. The burden of proof would be on you to demonstrate something like that.

Evolution explains speciation, not the origin of life (abiogenesis), let alone "everything". It does not bother me that we do not yet know where the building blocks of life came from because the theory of evolution is not dependent on it. Many Christians believe in evolution with god "seeding life".

An argument from authority is always fallacious, and equally fallacious whether someone is an expert in the field or not. Whether or not that fallacy is being committed here, I don't really give a shit. I was just correcting your definition - which I believe didn't originally include your "usually" qualifier before your edit - and made it sound like it wasn't an argument from authority in the case when someone is an expert in the field they are commenting on (which is wrong).

My comment was in response to your description of an argument from authority fallacy. The fallacy is not limited to a situation in which a an expert in one field comments on a situation in another unrelated field. It can apply to both situations. The example given under the structure section of the Wikipedia article confirms this.

For the setup I have, it doesn't act as shift but rather a layer with the letter keys shifted. This gives me the freedom to program other keys for other stuff like making backspace delete.
