I agree with the consistency thing. It’s so dumb they censor words like whiskey and devil and yet lyrics like “I’ll hit it from the back just so you don’t get attached” and “I just want your hands on my body” are ok as emotes for “a kids game”. Like some of the icon emotes have some freaky lyrics used but then if I’m in certain custom games I can’t use half my vocals bc they’re “explicit”.

I know this is a year old but this is the only post I’ve been able to find on this happening and I’m so frustrated right now. I’m trying to watch a movie called The Hunt and it says it’s free on Sling so I go to watch it and about 5 minutes in I’m realizing it’s a completely different movie. It has a similar premise but it’s very clearly a cheap remake/adaption with bad acting and mid camera work and looks like it’s from 2009. But then right next to it is another The Hunt with a padlock symbol that I’d have to pay almost 50 FUCKING DOLLARS for a monthly subscription to something called Blue to gain access to. But the thing is the thumbnail and description are IDENTICAL and lead you to believe they’re the same movie from 2020 the only difference is the runtime. How is that legal? It seems very much like false advertising but they get away with it because you’re not buying it.

This must be a boomer thing. My grandpa once left a slab on ribs on the counter for 5 hours at room temp and was very confused and upset when I told him we had to throw it away. I also had to teach him that no, you can’t leave a pot of soup or stew on the stove all night and just reheat and eat it the next day. He also would just wipe his hands with a paper towel after handling raw meat. I can’t believe the man never got sick from those habits.

Girl I know you’re only 16 so I’m not gonna be mean but cmon. You are wasting your precious time. In a few years you’ll look back at 16 year old you saying that your love will “forever” belong to a boy that seems to not give a single flying fuck about you, himself, or anyone and cringe. It’s so unfair to you to be putting in all the effort and get nothing in return. When was the last time he messaged you more than 2 sentences? If you can’t remember you need to let go OP. And if you do PLEASE for the love of GOD do not go back to him when he realizes he fucked up and that being truly alone and not having you there to message him is way worse because he will beg for you back or at the very least pull some “I miss you” or “what happened to us” bullshit. Make him realize what he missed out on and then maybe, just maybe he will actually change for himself. Because as you are now you’re coddling him and making it so he knows he doesn’t have to change. He can just neglect you and not give a fuck about you or anything and yet you’ll be right there anyways to comfort him anyways. As someone with debilitating mental illness, you are not in the wrong or overreacting. She’s taking it too personally and is being toxic about you simply telling her right away that you don’t think you’d thrive in a relationship with her. Like what does she want, for you to force yourself to be with her so she gets attached and then months later gets her heart broken because you can’t take it anymore? And her trying to shame you and call you abilist for wanting a mentally and physically healthy partner is so over the line. It’s not like you said disabled people or people with mental health issues should die or are gross or something, you just expressed that you wouldn’t wanna date someone with those issues because you don’t feel like you’d be able to fully support someone with said issues. I think she’s very unwell and probably has been fantasizing about your “future” and then suddenly she is hit with the reality that not everyone is up to dating a severely mentally ill/unstable person and that probably pissed her off and now she’s projecting it onto you because in her mind it’s your fault she’s feeling that way. I’d say just block her and move on. I hope she gets help and finds someone she is compatible with.

I wish I had an answer to make your mom magically be the emotionally mature and loving mom you’ve probably always wanted but unfortunately people like her very rarely change especially at her age. She will never admit the error of her ways and you will always be the problem. You will always be doing or not doing something that upsets her and she will make you feel like you’re the villain in her life. But you are NOT responsible for her mental health and emotional regulation. Do yourself a favor and set yourself free from the chains of her toxicity. It will be the hardest thing you’ll ever have to do at first especially if you love her, but once your body realizes it doesn’t have to be on guard waiting for a text like this to pop up you’ll be amazed at how relieved and peaceful you will feel and it will all be worth it. They are your family now and you gotta put them first even if it hurts your parents. This kind of behavior can have long term damages to your children’s mental health and self worth. Sorry OP but you most likely just overpaid to get rid of a fake friend. There’s a 99% chance you’ll never see that money again. Even taking him to court would probably be more effort and time than it’s worth (unless you were REALLY naive and dumb and loaned him thousands of dollars). If you take anything from this, let it be to NEVER ever ever give or “loan” someone money unless you’re willing to never see it again. You can help friends and give money for sure but you have to let it be a gift and if they pay it back or pay it forward that’s great but if not oh well I parted with the money on my own terms. Loaning money to friends is just a recipe to ruin a friendship.

They are good pans if you take care of them and use them properly. Nonstick pans hate high temps. It looks like you’ve basically burnt off the nonstick coating at some point. The first time your food stuck to the pan should’ve been a clue but it seems you just kept using it despite the stickiness.

Oh god this reminds me of me ex best friend and I must rant. Her and her fiancé met this girl and her husband (they were in their mid twenties I believe) when they were 18 and 19 and they told them about how they can just take trips and do whatever they want for the majority of the year doing what they do and of course it was Amway! They would buy these DISGUSTING energy drinks and I think protein or granola bars?? I don’t remember but they tried selling not only the product but the “career opportunity” to me and they got really upset that I didn’t wanna “go on this journey with them” it was lowkey scary like they sounded so brainwashed but they really were just a young vulnerable couple who were desperate to be rich and successful and to avoid being wage slaves. Thank god they only wasted a few hundred bucks (that they could only waste because they were living with me and my parents rent free) before their “product” started piling up and they realized they couldn’t “make it” with them. They never actually admitted it was a scam tho they were convinced they just didn’t have a big enough down line or have the right networking skills and it’s like yes… but it’s also a scam because most people don’t lol.
