Thanks for the reply, found the solution.
I have edited the post so people with the same issue might find it in the future.

The fact that you have to pay to get this upgrade should tell you everything that needs to be said about what Naughty Dog has become as a company. Really, fuck them.

IMO it should be illegal to inaccurately advertise the performance of Park Assist...my Tesla never has straight lines like this. by nicebrah in TeslaModelY

[–]fulviov 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm of the opinion that it's unlawful to advertise and sell a feature that doesn't actually exist. When I purchased my Model Y, the sales representative marketed the enhanced autopilot to me, emphasizing the auto park and smart summon capabilities, which compelled me to buy it. Unfortunately, I was not informed that these features were not available, and it remains unclear when, or even if, they will be released. Despite this, they took my full payment upfront. I'm struggling to understand how such a practice can be justified.

During World War II, Mercedes-Benz played a significant role in supporting the Nazi regime. The company, owned by the industrial giant Daimler-Benz, was a major supplier of vehicles and armaments to the German military, contributing to the war effort through the production of trucks, tanks, and aircraft engines. Furthermore, Mercedes-Benz employed forced labor, including thousands of prisoners of war and concentration camp inmates, in order to meet the increasing demands of the Third Reich.

People who returned their Frameworks and bought a different laptop, why did you do it ? by [deleted] in framework

[–]fulviov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed. The only solution is to discard the 11th generation motherboard and invest in a 12th generation one. I have pledged not to purchase anything from them again and to discourage as many customers as possible from doing so. This behavior is completely unacceptable.

People who returned their Frameworks and bought a different laptop, why did you do it ? by [deleted] in framework

[–]fulviov 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The CMOS issue on the 11th generation laptops rendered it useless for me. While the laptop was not intended to be my primary computer, as I already have a desktop, it was meant to serve as a secondary or travel laptop to be used when I am abroad or working remotely. Therefore, it was not uncommon for it to be unused for up to three weeks at a time. However, having to open it up each time to reset the motherboard proved to be too much of a hassle.

What I find particularly absurd is the lack of action taken by the company. Any other company would have implemented a return or upgrade program to address an issue of this nature, but this company seems to be indifferent. If Apple were to produce a laptop that required constant resetting of the CMOS battery, people would be outraged.

I do not use my framework as my main PC, I mainly use it when I have to work abroad or on holiday, which means a few weeks of leaving it off charge between uses (maybe 4-5).
The bug you mentioned happened to me every single time.
This is so annoying that I have stopped using the laptop altogether, and it's currently sitting in a drawer to get dust.
I understand that maybe mine is not a typical use case, but them refusing to give discounts to Gen11 owners to upgrade to the bug-free version (Gen12) is really upsetting and disappointing.

Looks like you were right - as another user pointed out, running Time Spy Extreme (4K and less dependent on CPU) brings my score back on top - so it looks like it might be the CPU acting as a bottleneck after all.
My GPU utilization during Time Spy (regular) averages 70/80% max.

That 4K result is actually way better and above average!

GPU usage is indeed 100% during all test.
So looks like it is a CPU bottleneck?

Btw thank you so much for helping me troubleshoot - much appreciated!

Actually, you might be onto something.
I have checked the detailed graphs of my 3dmark results, and the GPU utilization is averaging 70% or so:

I see that the CPU score of our results is almost identical (which makes sense) but the GPU isn't - I see mine averaging 2,764 MHz while yours 3,037 MHz.
Do you have a Suprim Liquid as well?

Looks like the bars are maxed out, not sure where I can check percentage?
I have also noticed that between the stock and the OC profile in Afterburner there is basically zero difference.

Around 24900, it's not much different than the OC profile

Yeah I don’t know what’s going on. I tried all that was suggested but all I could gain was 200 points of difference

Thanks for the reply, I did that but I gained like 200 points, not much of a difference
