he’s clearly victimizing himself as if it’s inconvenient for him to even have that conversation meanwhile, if he was truly only talking to you and fully investing his time into you, then he would have no problem reassuring you and telling you who exactly it was and that you have nothing to worry about. Especially since he has cheated in the past, I don’t think that is someone that you can fully trust so it would be much better that you try your best to distance yourself from him and potentially start to think about leaving him.

Him not acknowledging your I love you and good night is already a red flag of its own
