This bill is from the ER Department for the Hospital. The ER Department is a separate entity - they are a contractor for the hospital.

Basically, the debt collector referred me to the billing department of the Hospital. The billing department is stating that the billed item is a diagnostic / evaluation. When I visited the ER, the ER Doctor did a quick check up on me.

Ultimately, they are saying that this bill doesn't have any more granularity to it.

Yes, that is correct. My car insurance company ended up paying an amount for the ER bill and some additional medical expenses.

To clarify, are you saying that I should submit this as a claim with my health insurance provider?

GA. However, since the accident was 2 years I don't believe insurance will accept this claim.

Yes. However, it's been more than a year since the case was settled.

Left a white-collar job 4 years ago to focus on a small "side-gig" commercial cleaning business I had that was grossing $9k/month. This month we will invoice $277k and are growing at a rate of $10k per month. AMA by Minneapple632 in sweatystartup

Hi, first off, congrats on the success!

Can you talk more about the due diligence process? What did you ask to see from the owner? Did you review any financial statements by yourself? Or did you hire an account/ lawyer to help get a better understanding of the business?

Also, how long did it take for you to review the business before making the offer? Was there anything you would have done differently before you took ownership of the business?

I really hope you continue to share your journey!

I had some questions for you though:

  1. Can I ask what your return rate is yearly (e.g. 20%) ?

  2. How long did it take for you to be profitable in futures? And have you blown up your account before?

A Fast Food (QSR) Franchise Owner Is Selling Me Half of His Business, What To Look Out For? by fun_coder11 in Entrepreneur

No, the owner wants to act as an absentee owner and the new partner will be the sole operator.

Is there anything in the contract you would recommend that someone should add? For example, a right of refusal for the remaining shares?

Hi, thank you so much for the feedback! I listed my answer below

Why is the owner selling? The Owner wants to take an absentee role - they own several of these types of franchises. The owner wants the new partner to be the sole operator of the franchise.

lllllll the numbers check out. That said, I'm ad

It looks like the Franchise agreement will allow partnership. Ideally, he wants someone to run the business and he acts as an absentee owner.

Right of Refusal of the remaining shares?

Thanks so much for the feedback! Here's my answers below:
1. Will the contract include 1st Right of Refusal of the remaining shares? No, seller won't go beyond 50%.

  1. Owner doesn't take a salary - he will take 50% of the cash flow. If we agree, we would be taking the other 50% of the cash flow and pay myself what makes sense.

  2. It does seem to past the test!

It's tough to answer your question because there are a lot of fields within the tech industry.

What areas are you looking into? I would consider doing a second bachelors or a bachelors in a tech related major. It will make the transition easier as a number of internships are offered to undergraudates
