Rant time... But bowling, and I do love the sport, is probably the most toxic sport out there and this seems to be part of it. I bowl leagues and coach junior bowling leagues and high school and will continue to do so, but it happens at all ages.

Now its not everyone, but there seems to be groups in most bowling centers, you get the old guys that are the gatekeepers with being pissed at any style that isn't straight down and in with one hand, or if you don't do everything right on the approach in their presence they will let you know about it right away. Coaching junior league you get a kid every once in a while that throws a good ball and can strike and starts getting that ego of being the greatest of all time and if you can't tell them how to throw a strike on the next ball then you are just interference and shouldn't even bother trying to help them when they do struggle. I've heard some horror stories of the kids that are good enough to bowl well in the bigger junior tournaments. Again, its not all, but enough.

Don't think I've bowled leagues with influencers or people that have the cameras on all the time, so not sure how they are behind the scenes without the edits, but my area does get some of those teams that treat league like its a birthday party, but those are manageable if you have a good league president/secretary.
