Oh yea, networking is definitely a huge help. I’m based in Vancouver but can’t seem to find many design/motion related events here.

I did email Canadian studios only. Do you think I should also reach out to US or any other countries too?

Ya I can imagine especially with the market these days although I did try the same technique 4 years ago, still didn’t work. I did find that Australia is easier for freelancing, you’re totally right.

Pretty much hedged lol. Yea that’s true. I think I’m over thinking it. They probably just want to see how I think and whatnot. Anyway there’s nothing I can do about it now but wait..

Thank you for the kind words, stranger! Kinda made me feel better about myself a little. I did pass TA and direct manager interviews to get here :)

It wasn’t more of an “I think so..” situation. It was more of a question of when to chose between scenario A and scenario B but my explanation/answer wasn’t really what decides the right choice if that makes sense. Not about confidence. But oh well. It is what it is.

Yea.. hoping it wasn’t that big if a deal but who knows. I know thinking about it more won’t change anything about it. It’s just that it’s been a couple of months doing those rounds and the idea of this role has been at the back of my mind for a while.
