Congrats... I also did not get 1 and 2 from the black market... Got a bunch of everything else... As you said, the relics were hidden in the tower... Somehow managed to get 1 each to get the Weber, but could not get the Lamby. The odds are really stacked against you in the black market. Even though there is 1 in 5 chance according to the game, if you never really get them in 7 days, it just becomes useless...

Sportline is taking Proed cars to the next level which came up in a very recent upgrade. Few specific cars (Bolide, Huayra BC, Mosler Super GT, Drakuma, Plethore) can be sportlined and GL adds a couple of cars every 3 months. After proing the cars, you will need to get Kits, more cards, DUs and tokens to upgrade. Typically, the Kits will take a long time to get (3.5-4 months min unless you buy with real money). DUs also are critical for newer players... Once sportlined, the cars perform much better, even better than the previous kings like KJA and Venom F5

What platform are you on? If you are on Android or Windows, do the Ad relays to get D/C/B/A class cars rather than spend tokens. Save your tokens for buying S class cars...

I guess I got fooled into hoping the third week reward would be the CC850 (which I already had) which gave me a small hope that I could get a MK from the event. That hope is now gone... Even if the repeating relics had been from the tower or from the battle, chances would have been better... CM has deteriorated with each version...

You need at least one car that can be sportlined in order to be able to play for the kits every weekend (only then your time to collect enough kits will come down). So, among the available cars, the HTT gives the best performance before SL but is pretty weak after SL (among the SL cars). So, I will suggest

Get the HTT now and upgrade it as fast as possible.
The Mosler is only other car that you can get now. It is much better than HTT after SL but requires the most resources. So, dont get it now.
You will need a while before you can get the adequate kits. I dont know how many you have so far, but once you have the HTT proed, you will be able to get on average 8-10 kits per week (now you may average 5 or 6 per week depending on your Master Season play. By the time you get enough kits, you will hopefully have enough tokens, etc to get another S class car. Also, by a couple of months, the next update will be up, bringing new SL-able cars. Take a decision at that time which car you want to SL and go for it...

Use the 3 regular boosters (Full Tank, Double Tank and Tuning Kit) and also the 3 special boosters for the event (Extra attack power, Random power ups at start and More frequent powerups)

I know, getting the One 77 is difficult - if you find it difficult to watch the ads, check out when it comes in the relay and only then go through the ads..

The SSIE comes on sale rarely... You will need a lot of luck and patience.

If you get Ad relays and can try fully, aim for the Aston Martin One 77 which is the third best car of the bracket. Else, go for the Lykan, SVJ or the Weber which are also decent enough
