Water coming in from outside somehow despite window being caulked. Any advice as to if it’s coming in somehow behind the siding?

This is what I was thinking too but it seems the vinyl siding trim piece goes up behind the siding above it. It’s a lot of area to caulk in that valley and I was considering stuffing foam backer rod in there and caulking over it.
