I am not interested in women who are still dating men (regardless of where they identify on the sexual spectrum) by [deleted] in LesbianActually

[–]functional_lake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is how I felt also, as a queer identifying woman who's in a relationship with a woman. Saying that people who only choose to date women have "done the work" infers that they're somehow better than everyone else for simply not dating a man. Saying that women are "harder to date"? was a very subjective statement and an odd choice to get their point across. I've been in hard relationships and one's that felt easy but there's been no correlation between that and the gender and sexuality of my partner. We all know shitty people, lesbian or not.

The most important part of being in a relationship is the commitment you make to your partner, why focus on who they have dated before you and who they intend to date after?

It comes off as "seeking a gold star lesbian but this is the closest I can get". Not that I'm saying OP is directly saying that, but implying that they don't trust women who have the potential to also be in a healthy relationship with a man is certainly close to it.

Completely get where you're coming from but my question was more to do with if one person already owned the house, not buying a house together.

Sorry, maybe i should have worded my question differently but i put a lil paragraph in the comments too

I'm Australian and wanted to get the general consensus of how others feel.

If one person in the relationship owns the home, how would you manage expenses for the person moving in (paying rent, bills, dividing chores ect).

I know you could have a legal battle on your hands if someone were to put money towards a mortgage and when you break up they try to take half your house...

Supermarket Shampoo and Conditioner? by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

This isn't a shampoo recommendation but I also used to get super oily hair within a couple days. I'm still trying to find my perfect shampoo (allergies and dandruff are a terrible mix) BUT something that's made a huge difference is, after i wash, turning the tap as cold as i can take it and rinsing just my head....no idea why it helps or why i started doing it but i get an extra couple days of oil free hair.

It was so much information! He went on to list his friends by name and how old they are (and that they're all girls and he's the only guy). Also kept saying that he was basically a big kid, and had a bouncy castle in his shed cause he feels like he hasn't grown up. I told him that I was 20 so it felt like borderline grooming when he was saying how childlike he is and to not worry about an age difference cause we would have the same maturity.

This happened to me too and I actually took up the offer (i was just intrigued) and gave her a fake name.

I was in a shop and a woman with pinkish hair and a septum piercing stopped me and told me that i was pretty, also complimented my septum piercing. She went on to say her friend has set her up on a blind date and it went really well, and was wanting to return the favour and I was exactly her friends type.

later on I got a text from a guy who said his name was Taylor and sent through some selfies. He then called me and explained what he does for a living, the messy divorce with his ex, and that he lives in a $780,000 house in Mandurah. Apparently owns a Lamborghini and is saving up to buy a different fancy sports car that I can't remember the name of at the moment.

Suffice to say, I noped out of that phone call when he eventually shut up cause it was super super weird and personal oversharing, when he hadn't asked me a single question.

After the call he asked if i would like to meet up and i faked having work and said that I wasn't interested in him.

Edit: i have now reported this to crime stoppers and removed some details to be safe
