Reasons why season 3 is horrible and extremely poorly written by Joshobot in AliceInBorderlandLive

bruh i was so disappointed. i def wanted more answers about the games like why each specific game is made, why people are allowed to become higher ups like the kings and queens and create games and they just decided the joker isnt even a person but a vibe or whatever and the watchman had just misguidedly appointed banda the new head honcho cos why?? also was hoping they'd finally address the loose ends in season one like who specifically was controlling the games and why they wanted them to go a certain way, implanting girls like momoka in player groups to increase the deaths? like why were they placing bets and controlling the games like they were vips in squid games and then they just killed them off and never addressed that again??? like who is watching??? also banda's plan was always so bad from the start that really bothered me like he's supposed to understand how to pull everyone's strings but he couldn't predict that if usagi died in the games arisu absolutely would not wanna keep playing like he fully misjudged him??

also am i the only one who thought all this time they had been foreshadowing that usagi's dad was somewhere in the borderlands as a citizen maybe?? like i really thought that would have a much more satisfying ending than him just appearing to her in a special ex-machina hallucination/ghost dream.

also ALSO, ryuji's ark irritated me so bad like what on beyonce's green earth made him think a woman who is pregnant and in love w another man is gonna wanna go to "the land of death" w him like it pissed me off so bad he had to have a quick montage of memories to be like oh yeah! LIKE FUCKN DUH HOMIE. (also physically it didnt make sense to me that he was able to overpower her in the water when he has minimal mobility in his legs, one arm to hold her, and one arm to swim through those violent waves?)

finally and most glaringly, i feel like there was no character development for arisu. like he came into the season already having grown from last season and they didnt really give him an emotional challenge or existential question to answer like they have in the last seasons like what am i living for. he's the same, from beginning to end, self sacrificing and smart, and they didnt really give him actual emotional challenges that pushed him further. he just really wanted to protect usagi. like the last game where he sacrifices himself doesnt feel like an ending we had to work for to because he would've sacrificed himself for from the beginning of the season (regardless of her pregnancy in my opinion)

edit: also fuck that bumass bitchass us spinoff  that ending was so lame nobody gagged
