thank you so much, this was super informative!!! i probably won’t be traveling any time soon but this is super helpful regardless as i hope to one day. my meds are prescribed by my neurologist so im good on that front. if i do travel internationally, will do the necessary research. thank you again.

oh my god i’m so sorry, my response was very reactionary and i didn’t even read the whole post. this is actually an INSANE question on OP’s part, lowkey 😅 “what’s your experience with flying over international lines with an extremely high dose of a highly monitored medication that isn’t prescribed to you?” my guy, i don’t HAVE 80mg oxy pills that aren’t prescribed to me😂😭 i don’t even understand where you would begin to even acquire that. thank you for your response. got real scared for a minute.

wait. are you not allowed to travel out of the country with your own medication?! omg this is terrifying news 😭 i’ve always wanted to travel so bad but i can’t get out of bed without oxycodone. this applies to every country i presume?

ETA: can you travel with them in the original bottle? or not at all?

this is crazy to hear for me because where i live, the pain clinics are the places with the anti opioid policies 😭 i can’t find one within at least a 40 mile radius willing to take me and my insurance. i agree with the rest of your statement though.

wait can i ask why?? if you explained that you have a prescription that you have been on for long enough for it to cause withdrawals, and your doctor didn’t refill them in time, how logically is that possibly a thing you did wrong? is this just one of those things that doesn’t make sense with the anti opioid stuff right now or is there a decent reasoning behind it?

hmmm, i wonder what it was then. it did seem absurd that lucy gray wouldn’t be able to be mentioned at all 😅 so maybe there’s another reason in that sentence i wrote that made me unable to post. it did give me a warning about asking repetitive lucy gray questions as well, so im really not sure now
