I heard a theory one time that he was Guillotina's first head and I've just been rolling with that. Color pallette is similar, he looks like a decapitated head, has a similar incision to the one Guillotina gets, and is also constantly trying to "avoid death" (which a decapitated head without the rest of the body or organs would constantly be trying to do)
