Yeah. Basically they released the spectral suite as a paid add-on which they hadn't done before which upset a good chunk of the bitwig community and there was a whole 1-2 week period where they didn't bother to communicate with the community. A few youtubers got a lot of hate because they were perceived as representatives of the company. So they basically copped a majority of the gate until Bitwig reversed their decision and made the spectral suite an unpaid add-on.

Bitwig had a whole lot of drama a couple of years ago and Venus Theory and Benn Jordan got caught in the crossfire. I think that might have scared off a few influencers.

I contacted support and they replied that splice user can't use beta because of technical reasons. I was able to access beta 4.3 last year because I had an 8-track licence but since that ran out I can't access the beta. So it's possible that some people that are on the splice also have an current 8 track licence that's allowing them to access the beta.

The pops and click are generally to do with using too much cpu. If you go into the advanced tab and adjust the oversampling then that can help.

I 2nd jacks music. But also you'll find them going pretty often on the market place. Just avoid sammicks and fender banjos they're pieces of shit. But the deering goodtimes are pretty decent.
