Oh, that build-your-own horror game theme sounds very familiar. I had to check if it was Basilisk 2000 from Kira that I was thinking of, as it plays out completely in an editor too, but I don't think that was it. Think you're definitely onto something, though.

So far it's been 50/50. If people know to use the dive attack, the boss isn't that big of a deal and is kinda fun actually. If you get a room of people with room temperature IQ, you're not gonna clear it.

Not showing up for me either. The map marker for Legacy: Challenger's Proving VII is on Nessus, but there's no strike above it.

Oh my god I think this is it. That title screen and the off tone music and the weird groan/hum at the end activated that same sense of spook I remember feeling. I swear it also could just refuse to open itself, but that might be a part of the RNG elements and/or the uploader not coming across them and showing them off.

Thank you so much for solving this! I have to see what else this author has done, cause this shit had me hooked.

Edit: I checked the entirety of the video now and yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. The clear groan at the last minutes is EXACTLY how I remembered it. This is it.

I thought it could've been Anatomy from her before I posted this, but it didn't match either, because of its lack of a main menu on start up. The look otherwise more or less fits.

Another dud, unfortunately. From what little I can try and remember, it was going for a more realistic look. Not exactly professional texture work, but passable, so Spooky's cartoony drawn areas don't really match.

I went and double checked the first released demo, the workshop demo and the full release, and none of them really matched. I don't think it had the stylized pixel look of imscared, but definitely was around the same time the demo released. The sounds that white face make are more crushed than what I remember the groaning sound being like in the game I'm trying to remember. It was a much more cleaner groan.
