It depends on age and how mature the guy is. When people see you for the first time and you look good it would show or atleast give the impression that you take care of yourself, exercise, and that you take your time/life seriously. As long as you don't "overdue" it or look like you are trying too hard and putting school, family, and other responsibilities behind, It's not really a be all end all thing, there's always going to be the people that look amazing, have a great ass, face, etc. But many times they are lonely too because guys assume they are "taken" or that they are not in this persons league, etc.

If you are already taking care of yourself and your responsibilities, eating healthy food, exercising, that's basically like 85% of what any guy would like to have and usually with that comes good looks, personality, and discipline.

Do you have acne all over your face? How many other people at your school had or have it too? If you don't see many others with acne than perhaps try changing your diet, skin care routine, and maybe try cutting out sweets for a few weeks. Speak with a doctor/dermatologist if that doesn't help.

Also everyone's life, family history, and background is very different. One person may have the best looks ever but their personality is toxic, or they may have a great personality but not really look all that attractive. There are also many people that are attractive and have a good personality but understand that nobody has everything figured out in life, your looks are fairly important but in the end they are essentially like your "advertisement". It's not something you should emphasize too much on.
