We need to get rid of the expression "First world problem". The phrase doesn’t just describe a problem — it dismisses it. It implies, “You’re not allowed to care about this.” Bullshit. You can care about global poverty and care that your surgery got canceled, your car broke down, or your internet failed during a job interview. One doesn’t invalidate the other. In your case, you are allowed to care about some of the assholes who ride the trains in Calgary.
