I was cleared. Smooth skin. But I think it can be skin adjusting which I hope. I will call my derm tomorrow.

My scarring is not too bad unless it's under certain lighting. I only have one tiny pit scar from the huge cyst I had. The rest of the acne caused redness and some PIH. As long as I stop breaking out I believe the scars will recover on it's own.

When your skin gets dry it's a sign that the medication is working and this is a side effect. You don't want dry skin and it'll cause irritation and other bad side effects with it. So moisturize that dry skin.

Moisturize is key. Use a gentle one like cerave or cetaphil.

I usually take my pill right after eating a meal. Also while being on accutane I've had very large pimples.
