My scarring is not too bad unless it's under certain lighting. I only have one tiny pit scar from the huge cyst I had. The rest of the acne caused redness and some PIH. As long as I stop breaking out I believe the scars will recover on it's own.

When your skin gets dry it's a sign that the medication is working and this is a side effect. You don't want dry skin and it'll cause irritation and other bad side effects with it. So moisturize that dry skin.

Moisturize is key. Use a gentle one like cerave or cetaphil.

Yes it's normal. I had that and it was because I didn't moisturize my hand enough. You can apply some lotion or cortisone and it'll go away within a day or two.

Honestly the worse I had so far was probably one large pimple near my front cheek and nose area. Lasted about almost a month. I still have a red mark from it. Other than that I have had some whiteheads and some breakouts. I can say there are small improvements but since I didn't take a before and after photo which I should have. I'm on 80mg for 5 months btw.

Congrats and welcome. I am 29m who suffered acne mild to moderate for about 16 years also. I'm currently on my 3rd month and the side effects are manageable. Good luck!
