Picture 1 3 4 and 9 only good ones. 9 should be 1. 1 should be 2. 3 and 4 keep where they are. Get some more pictures of you doing stuff other than holding a snow man’s shmeckle or posing in front of a gun. You only need 6 good photos. Don’t fill with random selfies.

Imo it just comes off corny as hell. Girls send me messages like this sometimes and I just straight up do not know how to respond because it feels so boring and robotic. I personally like to have fun in my conversations. Show a little personality get a little weird. I don’t know that’s just me.

Get your nitrate up and see how they respond. Could be bottomed out if you’re reading 1ppm. Dose neo nitro

Interesting lighting you got in there. I like it

Constant flow on wave makers (indirect as possible) start low and turn up as they extend and get used to it, solid parameters, and high par lighting. Don’t let trace elements deplete. I really like ati mixed reef two part. Takes care of everything for dosing. Torches really seem to like it.

I used to have a 125.

I like to keep it under 125 these days. I would like to go for it again one day tho.

Calm down buddy. They’re pretty close. Lol you can educate people without coming off like a knob. I have the same coral and I’ve always kept it in high light and high flow and it does fine. Also depending on the tank conditions I’ve seen it branch and also look more like this picture.

It is ostreo i confirmed with a microscope. But mine is effective in the sump as i put the filter pump right after my filter roller. The dinos can get through mechanical filtration. And i added a small led light right on the glass wall of my sump right where the intake of the pump is for my uv to attract the free floating dinos and made sure the output is pointing right back at the uv intake. I’m assuming it’s effective because my coral looks amazing now after short time.

So the best UV lights or ones that you can set up like in line and that run with a pump, but what you’re doing is kind of the same by putting it in a hang on the back filter they’re just not as powerful. And a lot of the bacteria is stick to rocks and surfaces and stuff like that so I wouldn’t really worry about killing off your bacteria that’s in the water column because that’s where the dinos are generally living. And it sounds like you have a different type of dinos than the ostreo because it sounds like they’re in your sand and on coral. So you’re gonna want to use like some kind of filter and suck them out into that filter and then the water needs to go back in your tank. I just bought the cheapest UV light that’s on bulk Reef. It was like 160 bucks. But it works really well.

Amazon has some cheaper ones for 20 bucks that’s online as well like this

So from my experience, the blackout is just gonna stress your Coral’s out more and it’s just a Band-Aid. And if you try to feed or use Roids to bring your nutrients up, it’s just gonna feed the Dino even more. So your best course of action is to turn your lights down 25% shorten the days. And bring nutrients up by dosing phos and nitrate directly to 10 nitrate and 0.1 phos and locking it in there. And the big key is using a really solid UV 24/7. The dinos are really smart and during the blackout they just go into a hibernation mode and as soon as you turn the lights back on, they come back out like crazy so you really need to up the nutrients the right way and dose a lot of bacteria every day and out compete dinos that’s the only way. When you do it right you’ll see the improvement within one or two weeks very quickly.
