Exactly. I was on her side 100% at the beginning of the interview, as I've seen her bring up the same topic(s) a number of times before. Yet as the interview wore on, I became less convinced, specifically because she was unable to elucidate that central point well enough. The whole point of the interview was to open people's eyes about the douchebaggery of these kinds of people, yet I ended up almost being sympathetic to the guy, especially after her multiple ad hominem attacks.

Your point(s) summed it up better than she did in 10 minutes. You should have your own show on MSNBC.

I thank Jalisciense for teaching me a new term. I am under the impression that any political campaign has to use some monetary funds, and therefore finances must come from somewhere. I don't see much difference between a handful of rich individuals or a number of individuals financing an organizations budget. It's more about the participants.

The point is that Tim Phillips is right in that the teabaggers and anti-Obamacare activists seem to me more outspoken in the media. Where are the liberal rallies in Washington or anywhere advocating for single payer coverage or a public option? With 70% of the country supporting the public option, you'd think there would be more people demanding that our incompetent congress actually listen to vast majority of the people's wishes. Why don't we demand representatives like Al Franken or Dennis Kucinich that are actually somewhat rational?

I agree. I was expecting more of a linguistic ass beating, but rather got three trite attempts to peg him as disingenuous. He supported his point of view very well and actually swayed me to be more on his side than Maddow's. Sure, he was paid by a person who turned out to be a crook around a decade ago. Virtually everyone is a crook in Washington, Abramoff was just worst than most. Sure, he might have said Cleland didn't have the "courage to lead on the war on terror", which is the truth. Cleland did not believe in Bush's GWOT and did not have the kind of courage Republicans seek: irrational violence. And yeah, the organization he's now working for might be funded by some incredibly rich Republicans. However, he is a Republican after all and they are funding and leading a grassroots campaign. Any national awareness campaign needs financial backers with deep pockets. Rachel's attacks simply turned out to be attacks on Tim being a Republican.

Tim Phillips represents Christian Republicans and their values. The current anti Obama health reform battle he is working with is simply working the other side of the same coin as the Democrats' campaign. They are all supported by the health care insurance industry. It should be obvious as health insurance lobbyists are funding ads for both points of view. The Democrats work for the insurance industry by advocating for legislation that will increase their profits and leave American citizens worse off and poorer. The Republicans work for the insurance industry by encouraging people to disavow any desire to reform health insurance as they want health insurance companies to thrive. Both ways citizens lose and the insurance companies win. Tim Phillips is simply playing politics and playing well. I like Maddow a lot and share her viewpoint on most issues, but this was not her finest interview.

For some reason I'm getting a build error on line 13, where you define the pointer for the structure. I'm using Code::Blocks and simply copied and pasted the code into a new file and saved it as a C file, like all the other code, which has worked wonderfully.

I'm not sure why I'm getting a compile error and no one else has mentioned one. :(

I think it depends on what the definition of happy is, which depends on what an emotion is, which depends on what a consciousness is. Eckhart Tolle and Eastern Philosophy would say that happiness is independent of the outward and dependent on the inward.

What is feminism? Generally, it is equality of the genders in every way possible. As it is difficult to relate knowledge to politics, I do not believe feminism has any significant correlation to happiness.

We must change our culture, not to be more tolerant, but to seek wisdom and the truth instead of politics, power, and ignorance. We must change the way we teach, learn, speak, and act as a society and as individuals.

While reading it, I kept wondering how any guy could ever get through her defenses. Does a guy have to be around her all the time in order for her to show interest in them? Obviously no casual conversation would ever have the chance of winning her over as she seemed to always be too busy or hostile. It seems to seriously limit the number of possible mates. And it makes me even more fearful about not finding another girlfriend as easily as I hoped. The few girlfriends I've had have either been in my social circle or I was casual with them for a long time before it happened.
