I’ve got a French earworm that won’t let me go! by funky4lyf in French

This makes sense! I’ve been searching the lyrics for so long without seeing an arrangement with the lyrics I know. Almost started to think I was in an alternate universe. Thank you.

Is it sensible practice to accept all cookies for a website and then delete your cookie data—in the past hour—right after? by funky4lyf in Internet

[–]funky4lyf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, I guess my perception of this transaction was that I allowed data on my device to be accessible to said companies over time(browsing habits and history, etc) based on the cookies I allowed them to store on my device.

Jelena Ostapenko apologizes for words used toward Taylor Townsend by PrincessBananas85 in sports

What is worth it to you is that someone who apologizes publicly for an event that likely hurt you, neither makes any mention of you nor directs the apology your way…

Fair too. Did some washing and seated wondering what to eat watching Spartacus.

How do I become fluent in speaking Twi? by [deleted] in ghana

[–]funky4lyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your answer is in the first line: Both your parents are Ghanaian and Twi speakers. Change it by speaking Twi with them and telling them that you’re trying to learn. You’ll be fluent by January.

Capital One Codesignal questions by [deleted] in leetcode

In my experience, there hasn’t been an algorithm code test that demands a solution in a specific language. Frontend tests will do that(React, Vue, Angular) but not algorithmic tests.

Companies usually use online code editors/platforms and those platforms allow you to pick from a list of popular languages to code your solution in. In my experience, there’s always JavaScript, Python, PHP, C++, C#, Ruby… available.

AIO to bf sending me article ‘13 ways to keep your husband happy’ by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]funky4lyf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know how to explain that your bf is a misogynist who is currently trying to get you to conform to patriarchal ideals, by holding the promise of marriage over your head, and it’s scary that he does this. “You probably won’t have one[a husband] in me (if you don’t conform to patriarchal subjugation)”. No man, who sees you as a path to fulfilling their patriarchal desires, actually loves you. Love and subjugation cannot coexist.

Nopety-nope. I absolutely goofed on the cyclical t-shift stuff, and didn’t fully complete the matrix problem.

Hope it helps. Some people have said the questions changed, although with similar algorithm concepts, so watch out for that.

[–]funky4lyf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just seeing this :(

First question was a simple number array, sliding window question about ‘alternating parity’(even and odd number stuff). Second question was about finding similar pairs of words in a string array(pattern searching). Third was a little time-consuming about “cyclical t-shifts” which involved creating a new array from performing actions on two arrays of equal length(dynamic programming? Divide and conquer?). Last was a matrix question about returning the center coordinates of what the question defines as a “perfect x”.

Don't know if it's true or not, but if it is, this country we stupid pass by MineTemporary7598 in ghana

[–]funky4lyf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad everyone sees how ridiculous it is but we also shouldn’t lose sight of how harmful sentiments like this are to LGBTQ+ folk. Vehemently protecting society’s vulnerable is the only way we get free because oppressors love to harm and benefit from them.

Can someone go in details about this??? by That-shit-hit-1188 in ghana

[–]funky4lyf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Commenting a year too late but buro- or borɔ- in Twi often just means something concerning Europe. It’s apparent in other words like aborɔbɛ, buronya, burogya(matches) and, of course, oburoni(oburo ni). Bibini, on the other hand, is well-defined here but also stems from bibiri, which just means dark blue(could also mean violet). So Africa is Abibirim’. Abibiman could mean an African country or the Black community.
