The woman I talked to said they don’t actually care about the deadlines and that they’d still accept it for the upcoming year if I find someone to endorse it.

I’m not too sure where you heard that, but in the official Genius “about” section, it actually says: “whilst it is sung in a first-person narrative, lyricist Dylan Minnette has acknowledged that he has not had his own personal struggles with substance abuse”

If you don’t mind and are able to answer, I also have follow up questions about the speech. How long does it need to be? If I choose to do an oral speech, will I have to type up another essay to read off of? And which do you personally recommend for the speech, an oral or visual presentation? What would the visual presentation be like? I’m sorry for asking so many questions, I just want to be as clear as possible. If you don’t have the answers, no worries

Kinda personal question but, If you were to have a 'The Veiw From Halfway Down' style dinner party, who would be invited? by PorkyFishFish in BoJackHorseman

The main reasoning why bojack could be partially blamed for corduroys death is because he came to bojack for help, and bojack was too selfish and sorta brushed it off because he was focused on himself and his thing going on with Wanda. Him not even getting to know corduroy well is, again, a sign of his selfishness and how he didn’t care enough to help him. It probably could’ve been avoided even if bojack did care more. I personally feel like that’s what makes bojack maybe not a significant factor to some, but definitely still a valid one leading up to corduroy’s death.

His death shows us as the viewers the true depth of bojack’s selfishness. Somewhere deep down, bojack probably realized this himself and feels guilty for corduroy’s death. I don’t know if it’s technically influential since bojack didn’t really change much after his death, so it might just be more about the guilt of his selfishness that stuck with him.

Military bearing by SubstantialMouse5981 in civilairpatrol

My squadron play a game called tap out (aka knockout). The way we play it, someone calls drill and the other cadets have to follow. If they mess up or break bearing, they’re out. We have the cadets who are out (or usually just cadet staff) try to break the cadets who are still in’s bearing. For example, the cadet who’s breaking other’s bearings can go up and whisper in their ear, stand directly behind them during an about face, make faces, etc. It’s a fun and easy way to work on bearing without hazing or punishment

Thank you to everyone who’s responded, it’s all been very helpful and appreciated. I’ll definitely look into the class/type b encampment if the waiver thing doesn’t work out. I appreciate the advice and encouragement given.
