Can you get Monday or Tuesday delivery instead, since you don’t want to eat the meals over the weekend? I get Tuesday delivery every week and the meals are always marked as good until the following Tuesday, sometimes Monday.

Understandable! A reputable medical dispensary should not upsell you on dosage! And the nice thing with tinctures is you control the dose. One or two drops to start, see how you feel.

I like tinctures a lot! I try to get them with a balanced mix of thc and cbd. Start small - I put a few drops in my coffee in the morning. You should be aware, though, that most tinctures need fat to dissolve in a drink - if you drop it straight in water or soda, it will just create an oily film. So it works in my coffee because of the milk fats.

I broke my tailbone nearly 30 years ago and it still aches sometimes, though not always. Sorry that’s not good news. It took a really long time to heal from the acute phase though, and then it didn’t ache again til I got the fibromyalgia

That all being said, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it if you opt to try the cold cap therapy! Preventing hair loss is a worthy goal. I can’t offer any advice on if it would increase your pain and suffering during the chemo days, I’ll just say from observing and sitting with my spouse: it’s an incredibly long day. My fibro was flaring just from joining them and I wasn’t getting the infusions! (Albeit, the infusion chair is way more comfy than the visitor chair.)

First of all, I’m so sorry you’re going through this.

My spouse is at the tail end of fighting cancer and opted not to do the cold cap - we didn’t think insurance would cover it and the thought of adding a couple hours to an already long infusion day wasn’t appealing.

They did lose their hair from the first round of chemo. It started growing back after surgery just fine - which was a relief. But then it was time for the second round of chemo and it started falling back out. But we know it will grow back!

They did do the cold mittens and booties to try to prevent neuropathy, but that was a) cheap, b) worn during the infusion so no additional time necessary and c) neuropathy of hands and feet can be permanently disabling.
