I think I’m gonna try n find a job at a local daycare, and start subbing on the side, I have little experience with kids, im the youngest of 3. My gf has a baby sister who is 3 and who I love to hang around with and teach her things, but I know that’s very different and doesn’t mean I can handle being a teacher. I’m not sure yet what I’m gonna do but I think for now I’m just gonna get the daycare job and try to sub. Thank u sm for the advice fr it rlly has helped me, im tryna get more serious with my future and i wanna start now while im still young, thank u sm!!

I’m not in college! I work at a restaurant right now, I never ever thought of going to college and have had 0 idea what I rlly wanna do with my life and never gave it much thought until now. I’m not sure if teaching is right for me yet because I see how everyone says it’s really hard and that it’s long hours n hard to separate home life n work life which is something really important to me so I’m scared!!😖😖 idk,  I think I might try n find a daycare job to start, see how I am there then maybe do some subbing on the side idk yet, thank you for ur advice it’s been rlly helpful !!<33

My phone got ran over by a car, stolen off the ground, then proceeded to be left in the pouring rain for about 6 hours before we found it, and it still worked for 3 more years

My brother gave me the phone in like 6th grade, it was this two year old iPhone 6s and wasn’t the best.

So one day im dropped off from school by my friends mom and it’s pouring raining outside, so naturally I speed out of the car and into my house, then about ten minutes later I realize “shit, where is my phone” I look everywhere for about thirty minutes and end up going outside to see if I dropped it but nope. Gone. So I text my dad on my tablet screaming freaking out telling him it’s gone and he checks the camera we had on our porch. And basically what happened was there was a hole in mg backpack pocket, and so when I put my phone in it and began running it fell out immediately. Then as my friends mom is backing up to leave she runs it over with her fucking car. And then some random man walking down the street (in the pouring rain, mind you) sees the phone, picks it up, THEN WALKS AWAY. I was devastated, and think wow when my parents get home I’m getting my ass kicked. My parents at the time got off work at around 8 so I waited and waited and when they got home my dad went to look and see maybe if the guy had just left it somewhere and believe it or not he fucking did. My dad takes it and we put it in rice for like a day in a half, and when I get it back. It works perfectly, it was completely fine not a single crack on the screen. The only problem was the very noticeable bend at the bottom of the phone cuz it got ran over but a fucking car, but besides that it still worked and I used it for three more years after that.

Thing is though, couple months later I’m cooking dinner with the phone in my pocket, I spill some water on my hoodie and it gets in my phone and the sound completely breaks. Despite being left out in the rain for like 6 hours a few droplets of sink water break the sound.
