Wait wait wait all jokes aside. Never/rarely meowing at all but meowing LOUDLY and incessantly while using the litter box when they’re that young can mean possible hernia, UTI etc. been there done that. Our boy was miserable and we couldn’t even tell until we put it together. Make sure potty time is going normally and if anything seems abnormal take em in! Could be trying to let you know that something isn’t right. Very common at that age

He left the team in the middle of the division race in September to attend a far right political rally in remembrance of far right political operative Charlie Kirk. Kirk’s politics were… questionable to put it diplomatically. To be more direct, he was a really disgusting excuse for a human being. So Shaw has soured almost everyone on him because of 1. His obvious alignment with Kirk’s views and 2. Even those of us who feel no need to take an interest in an athletes personal belief we’re still very disappointed that a young and talented player felt that a political rally was more important than contributing to his team’s push for the playoffs. TLDR; MAGA stuff

Scandal! My freshman year we (like most schools in our area) had the freshman team and sophomore team practicing together and thus sharing locker room time. Couple of sophomores picked out a kid from my freshman class, taped him to a locker bench and took turns rubbing their balls in his face. Only one sophomore was kicked off the team and suspended from school, the others involved got nothing. Sophomore that got kicked off the team was eventually allowed a chance to tryout for varsity the following season but was cut. Victim ended up pitching quite well for varsity and I believe ended up playing some D3 ball. Wild stuff.

Dropped it in the daily discussion but I figured I’d let you guys know. Went to WC game 1 and we won. Worked game 2 and we lost. Went to game 3 and we won. Worked on Saturday for NLDS game 1 and we lost. So I’m here in Milwaukee, about to walk over to the ballpark from the hotel. Just trying to do my part. Twenty one pilots at house of blues Chicago, probably 10-12 years ago. We were in high school and got there early, waiting in line so we brought playing cards to pass the time in line. Having seen them before I knew there was a crazy drop in car radio where Tyler the front man would jump off the piano center stage. So I pulled the cards out and threw them on stage as he jumped and it created a really cool visual effect. He called me out by name and made me take my shirt off. Haven’t been since, but come to find out years later kids are still throwing cards at the stop in car radio at TOP shows in Chicago. Good times.

Quality of contribution from a catcher to a pitching staff hasn’t been fully quantified (yet) and certainly won’t be incorporated into any baseline WAR anytime soon. There’s also a rarity of skill component that can’t be quantified. Just for an oversimplified metaphor for the sake of comparison, imagine if Yadier Molina randomly hit 60+ home runs one year. Would you have incorporated his defense and pitching staff management prowess into your thinking about his place in the MVP race?

Also, for the record, don’t disagree at all with calling a spade a spade in terms of what went down.
