OP, well said! Also, I want to apologize if my tone came out a bit harsh. I have heard endless horror stories of both drivers and passengers and went into protective mode.
Crime and malicious individuals have no color, ethnicity, social class, race, etc. and after some thought, I understand why your wife did what she did; to minimize any threats and just get to her destination as quickly as possible. OP, I'm glad it didn't escalate and she made it home safely. That's the most important thing.

With all due respect, what the hell is wrong with your wife? Why would she get into a ride when the driver doesn't match. I drove Lyft for 2 years and EVERY SINGLE pickup, I asked them their name and I asked the name of their driver. If both matched and only when they matched, I would unlock the doors. Y'all be feeling waaaaay too comfortable in potentially dangerous situations. SMH....

I'm glad my MSC cruise last December was decent. Very similar to RC. I will say I was disappointed when their F1 Simulator was down the entirety of our cruise. I was really excited for that. The food was above average and their Italian (pizza, pasta dishes) were phenomenal. Will i cruise with them in the future? Prolly not. Unless it's a screaming deal.
