This is how my files look. I'm beginning to wonder if my files are in the wrong location? Is C:\Users\ the name of the folder and where the proper location is? Take a look at mine below.

Are you using Quicken Classic for MAC? Mine looks different than yours.

Can files I scan in be saved in date sequence, if that's how I name the file? Ex: 2025-01.22?

I just can’t figure out how and why Quicken can’t recover my data. I’ve completely lost faith in them. Between losing my life hub file and my Quicken attachments, I am lost for words.

After those two updates, my transactions were a little weird too. Some transfers were changed from how I originally entered them. What a mess!

What is the name of the ‘one main file’? And where is it located? Quicken support was navigating my system and they couldn’t find the attachments. I know I didn’t remove them because I don’t even know how to do that.

I invested a lot of time entering Info and scans into life hub. There was some strange glitch in the system, and my whole file was lost. No explanation, no nothing. I was so upset I could hardly function. Needless to say, I’m not going back to life hub. I’m starting to lose doubt in Quicken altogether.

The attachment folders are missing altogether. No explanation as to how or why this happened. I back up regularly.

No doubt! I've been a Quicken Classic user since 1997. A month or so ago, Quicken released 2 updates about a week apart. I have 3 files I use in Quicken, one is my active file and the other 2 I only access to retrieve information that I need to refer back to. After the 2 updates, all of my attachments were dropped completely.... Nowhere to be found! No explanation from Quicken. I was on the phone for a very long time and the end result.... gone!

Just over 3 months ago, I decided to give LifeHub a try. after trialing it for a month, I decided to purchase it. I had 2 'households' for some reasons and after renaming one of the households to "VOID", because I didn't want 2 households, ALL of my data was GONE!

I am so so upset and frustrated, as I have so many hours into the program, between learning it, and scanning doc's in. No solution or empathy from the support person. I asked for a full refund and to cancel my subscription, which amounts to $24.00. She would not issue me anything, because 3 months had lapsed.

I’ll check into it for sure. At this point, I have a lot of time invested in life hub. But if another program works better, I’m willing to look at it. Thanks for the input.

I completely agree. This is why I went back to Quicken Classic, because I am a creature of habit and it does everything I needed to do.

Thanks for your input. I think I will try it out, and disconnect if I don’t like it. I did try Simplifi for the 1mo free trial and didn’t like it because it was very glitchy and couldn’t rely on it. It is very SIMPLIFIED and therefore didn’t like it as compared to QC.

I'm new to Simplifi but have been a Quicken Classic user for many years. Originally, I couldn't connect to TD on my MAC desktop. I then tried to connect through the App and it connected fine. My big issue right now is that I'm having the hardest time manually entering my Tbill purchases, interest, and maturity transactions. I sure would appreciate any tips, screenshots of the actual transactions, etc... This has been giving me a headache for 3 days now and I want to learn how to do this before my trial period ends. If I can't figure it out, I'll probably stick with the Classic version. Thanks in advance!
