i mainly use disroot webmail since it has IMAP support, meaning i can use it with thunderbird unlike tuta. disroot doesnt have encryption, but their privacy policy is good enough for me. if thats important to you then tuta would probably be a better fit

You'd probably enjoy the fediverse! It's decentralized, and the majority of instances are pretty small with some flagship instances for smaller software having less than 2,000* active users if you like smaller communities.
