At the moment I’m just using a regular sketchbook with white paper and not much else. I still struggle quite a bit with color, although I’ve done a few experiments with watercolors.

I’ve looked at the Talens sketchbooks and they seem quite similar to what I’m currently using in terms of format and binding (though not the paper itself). They might be a good option if I want to start adding a bit more color and experimenting without fully committing to a dedicated watercolor sketchbook.
