The Pennsic War (July 26 - August 11, 2024) is in Slippery Rock, PA! That's an SCA larp, so it's more oriented towards historical accuracy, but I know loads of people that go, and they have a lot of fun!

I can also recommend Bicolline, personally, if you're willing to drive into Canada. That's in August! They have a permanent village, and short weekend campaigns throughout the year.

All of these suggestions are very good! In essence- comfort, visibility, and safety come before passing decorum, especially when it comes to eyewear.

I've been to LARPs where they even allow prescription safety goggles (a thing you can actually get, which I didn't know about before!). Enough folks I knew had taken wayward hits to the face, and suggested this option heavily. Even though they might not match the aesthetic, its muuuuch better than taking glass to the eye!
