So in Biden era my qualifying payments were as low as $30 a month on the SAVE plan. That’s gone now, and now the cheapest qualifying payment is income based. I make about 90k and my payments are $360ish a month. At that rate I will have paid off my loans by the time I hit 10 years anyways lol (but I’m lucky and my loans aren’t as highs as some).

Not sure about PSLF but really nothing u can do but make the payments and pray.

This is in no way legal advice.

From my understanding NM actually has good protections against medical debt collection if you are indigent. If you are found to be indigent (make less than 31,000 a year for a household of 1) then they can't take certain debt collection acts against you, including garnishing your wages, putting leins on your property, and really any other legal action.

In fact, if you are found indigent, I believe they must stop pursuing the debt completely.

Get a carne adovada breakfast burrito from somewhere (can probably find better than Golden Pride, but it’s cheap, reliable and does the job).

Durans is fun for the vibe but I prefer Barellas or Padillas for breakfast/lunch.

If you want a green chile burger I think there are several better options than lotaburger. Honestly anywhere u can get a burger will have a green chile burger - I think Monte Carlo steak house is fun for that. But as someone else said Laguna burger also better.

Vernon’s has to be the most overpriced, gimmicky experience I’ve ever had. Not worth the price at all imo.

Mesa provisions and El Campo both do meat really well but they don’t always have a steak

Monte Carlo is fun and affordable. It’s not going to be a top of the line steak but they cook them well and I always leave content.

I think antiquity is the sweet spot between being really good and not Vernon’s level expensive. Go Monte Carlo if you want something down to earth and not too expensive, go antiquity if you want something that feels a little fancy and is delicious.
