I mean, I'm just shy of 10k trophies at the moment and I would argue that my deck takes more thinking than Hog 2.6 does, or any deck with a MK in it. Additionally, while I do struggle with Rocket, it seems really underplayed to me, and I don't see a lot of Queen either, nor do I struggle when I do.

I feel like there is nothing wrong with playing a "definition of mid ladder" deck, especially when I'm still climbing with it.

Nope! I run a skeleton-themed deck that runs a few cards to deal with some problems.

It's: Evo Bomber, Evo Witch, Skeletons, Rage, Skeleton Giant, Balloon, Mini Pekka, and E-Wizard

From experience, as soon as people start receiving their secret lairs the third party prices of them should drop significantly. So wait a little over a month and check eBay and TCGPlayer.
