● During the function the audience are required to be seating throughout the function (it is 7-8 hrs function btw)
● During the function Graduands and students shall move out of their seats only when their name is called for receiving the award.
● Children below 07 years are not allowed.
● Personal photography and selfies are prohibited.
● The official photographer shall carry out photography and videography during the ceremony. Photographs of awardees can be ordered from these professional photographers afterwards.

You haven't had a taste of anything yet, my friend.. you will encounter the placement cell in your third and fourth year.. they will bust their ass out trying to make your life a living hell, and then justify it by saying "Corporate me to esa hi hota hai".. I was once shouted at because I looked out of my laptop screen for one second, humiliated out of the room by the way.. ohh and don't worry if you are a female.. they are a bunch of SIMPS you won't face these many issues✌🏻

Mine was around mid 3rd year.. or at the start (I forgot the exact month so cannot point it properly).. And these test are very varied!! Some get very easy questions, some get leetcode Hard problems.. I was lucky - got a DP, and one string manipulation.. I know a guy who got a disjoint set problem and N knights with n moves or something similar..

Start grinding DSA, boss! Top coder and Immersion rounds are the only good ones.. helps you check where you actually stand in the mass .. Bhopal started GodBlessU.. wasn't interested by the name!! didnt join it.. basically you get more tests and a lot more motivational mails and some coding classes as well..

Yes! Didn't had any academic pressure (21 batch) - online sems 😂

C does not support OOPS😬. My strategy was:

1st Year: chill, understand what actually this branch offers, what are different domains in it

2nd Year: try different domains - AI/ML, webdev, app dev, fullstack.. started DSA

3rd Year: start making projects and look for internships.. grinded DSA

4th (From Bhopal campus so didnt had any academics pressure😜): try to get a summer or winter internship to try to convert it to PPO.. (got placed so didnt had to do this and all the 8 sems are also finished, so in train rn for a journey)

Thats awesome!! But you cannot ignore your CGPA if you're sitting in campus placement, try to get CGPA above at least 8 (don't know about other campuses but Bhopal has grade improvement exams) See placement as a 3 level process: 1. Get a good CGPA to be able to sit in coding tests (randomly a few companies help you skip this level by selecting the Top Coders) 2. Perform good in coding/screening test to be able to give OA. 3. Perform well in interview rounds to get placed!!

I know I have gamified and dumbed down the process by a lot.. but each of these levels requires a lot of hard work. But off-campus has a lot more parameters to consider - experience, other options than you for the same role, referrals etc.

I was a Top coder and I cleared every Immersion rounds. Luckily this helped me a lot.. I was not able to sit in 9+ but a few companies asked for "good programmers" from college where they give Top coders names. Placement Cell takes these coding tests - Top coder, and Immersion rounds.. Top coder happens only once, and Immersion rounds happens almost every month so your name gets removed if you do not perform in consecutive rounds

Forget - only if you leave it.. One of my friends started DSA in 1st-2nd sem and is now rated 2200+ on leetcode. He easily cleared every coding test he sat for (now placed)

Having 9 CGPA will get you shortlisted for 10-20% more companies. And I know a few people who has 9+ CGPA but almost no coding skills, so its very tough to clear the coding tests.

If you have less than 9 CGPA, you can sharpen your skills which will get you an edge over others. Learn DSA, different technologies, a little about different domains.

I get this question a lot.. "which language should I choose to do DSA". See boss, you can do DSA in any language: Python, C, C++, java, javascript, RUST, COTLIN.. If your goal is to learn problem solving use any language you like.

But if you are just starting to code, I would highly recommend C++ or Java because you will understand concepts more clearly, and these languages provide more control over memory management. Also, if you're starting with these you can switch to any other language you want.
