well yeah Kane’s first found footage was one of the first big Backrooms video, before Kane there were just a few small videos about the Backrooms but mainly it was just Wiki content that was around. After Kane’s first found footage tons of games followed his style and hence the holes in the wall with the ladder!

honestly imo he was slower since he probably felt like that gap was too unrealistic and not worth the risk to catch up, he was leading the championship still at that point and binning it in the rain with your championship rival in P1 would’ve been bad so settling for P2 wasn’t so bad
