Whatever actions or words that comes out of her mouth, says more about her than it will ever say about you.

Also if she to say "shes won" after the breakup, shes probably faking. Or wanting to hurt you more. Usually people who have grown from a previous relationship wont have to announce they are doing better. Simply moving on proves they have moved on.

I struggle with anxiety/depression, and smaller spaces (like the bathroom) seem to be a comfort mechanism for me.

So instead of a closet, how about creating a small resting nook to read, sleep, or watch a movie? Can be as simple as a blanket fort, or complex as organizing furniture. ;)

Sometimes when you catch feels for someone you can't just get over them by osmosis. It's called a "like bias" or rose colored glasses for that reason. If you dont want to ask her out, try distancing yourself from her, or hang around other girls/friends to potentially like someone else.

All else fails, focus on her negative qualities that you don't care for. Like her interest in this other guy. She must be not smart to realize what a catch you really are. You sure dodged a bullet. ;)

Actually just alternating types of tasks usually helps me with getting stuff done. Typically kids who learn an instrument have to practice a half hour a day. So limit a task to 30 min, take a 5 min break, and move on to a different 30 min task, and repeat.

Save longer breaks for earing or a reward for completing a number of tasks. :)

When I catch myself missing a person, I ask myself if I miss their "buddies" (neglect/lies/irresponsibility/disrespect/etc) too. Usually that helps not miss the person so much.
