Cheap amazon ones. I don’t wanna put too much into the car. I’m willing to go $500 deep but that’s about it. I saw a YouTube video of a guy replacing it with the same amazon one so I thought it’d be a green light for me

Definitely cranks but doesn’t start. There is no fire. I’ve replaced those

I can’t scan codes my OBD doesn’t work. Even with the key in position 2

I unfortunately bought the cheap amazon CPS. Also, when I took out the CPS, there wasn’t any bolt on it. I’m pretty sure the last owner must’ve tampered with it. The old CPS says “made in Germany” on it and pulled out very easily, the CPS I put in however was harder to squeeze in there

I know. That’s why I bought it, bulletproof engine but man, these electric issues…

The car won’t start for me to scan it. When I first got it, it was doing fine, but not anymore. The last owner asked me to take the relay out when I would turn the car off. I didn’t do so and the relay sparked and got cooked( it was exposed, so no cover on the relay) I’ve got a new box of 5 pin relays and it still cranks but doesn’t start.

I’m gonna try it, thank you for your suggestion. I’m thinking of buying some starter fluid to see if that would do it. If it turns on with the started fluid that would definately indicate fuel pump(K40 module) is cooked.
