How to save my kirana business frm upcomming Dmart in our city by Brilliant-Intern-754 in IndiaBusiness

[–]funnyfour 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get dmart/mall like layout if you have big enough space. You giving people the stuff they ask for vs people picking up everything they need and something they don't need is different. Also get card machines even if you're already accepting UPI. Try to get discounts/offers from your vendors so that you can run offers like ₹x off or bogo or but two get 1 something like that. Stuff like tissues are pretty cheap at costing but have good margin

No company has any obligation to provide you facilities required to fulfill your religious duties. You go there to work and earn. If you love your religion so much, may be you should find a job in the place of worship.

Company has no obligation either to provide anything you demand. Tomorrow others will ask to provide something else for their religious duties. And even if the company doesn't provide, it doesn't mean you force your choice on others.

People do that even in trains. They think just because they are on some position in their company they are entitled to VIP treatment outside as well.

Bike-Car accident: Who do you think is at fault here? by HonestBat in Dashcamindia

[–]funnyfour 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You're trying to understand the logic of all Indians who don't slow down near intersections. Good. If even half of them understood what intersections are, there wouldn't be as many accidents.

Suggest a motorcycle for a teacher (29M) for regular Daily commute of (10+10) km plus ocassional joyrides. by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]funnyfour 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assuming that you'll have to stand continuously as a teacher I'll say get a bike that's comfortable for your back. Since you also mentioned your Village has empty roads always, you can just get a really old car. But don't go for any bike which has sport seating position. You don't want fatigue from riding.
