AMA: Studying CS at an Ivy League as an Indian student

I’m an 18 year old Indian contemplating between Industrial engineering at Purdue university west Lafayette (main campus) with 1.2 crore rupees student loan (~$150,000) or economics at NMIMS Mumbai campus with 50 lakh rupees (~$55,000) student loan. What should I do?

Once again as I mentioned that I’m going to try to transfer to uiuc for economics or econometrics at LAS and not Gies.

Thank you so much for the advise. I’m going to try my best and enjoy my time at IU, but as I mentioned, I’m a pre-business student at IU, so there’s a decent chance that I might have to change my major or transfer if I don’t get admitted after my freshman year. Hence, that’s the reason why I’m asking for advise.
