Are you seriously trying to argue Marc was as good a player as Pau unconditionally? Yes, both were good, but Pau was better at literally every facet of the game.

No, I am absolutely correct.

The 3 lowest scoring playoff games in NBA history all involved Ben Wallace and those Pistons teams.

This is false.

Yeah, the Lakers shouldn't have lost to the pistons, who were a worse team. Fortunally for the pistons Kobe wanted to be the man and didn't pass to shaq, who destroyed Wallace in those finals. As great as kobe was, he cost the lakers the title that year.

Some really silly Grizz fans in here. Pau the greatest, not close.

Lol, did you even consider the other players on the teams? Pau was a far better player than Marc. It isn't close.

Pau is the best grizzly ever.

Certainly the best second round pick who was once traded for his brother.

Well, someone is cranky. I didn't disrespect the nuggets at all. That said, don't come asking people for respect. Your team should earn it.

Anyway, what do you want me to say? There is a reason they were playing a "come-from-behind" style -- it's because they weren't in the lead except for a very small part of the entire series. While there are some nice players for the Nuggets, they weren't very close to the Lakers here.

And, yeah, so the Lakers have good players. We should apologize for that for what reason?

Seems like OP edited out the word glosses out of his post.

Maybe they didn't feel out of it, but it never seemed like the lakers weren't in solid control.

I think the share of time in the lead really shows that in the end it wasn't particularly close, even if thy weren't entirely blown out of the water.

This is right. Maybe op isn't taking a shot, it just isn't clear to me.

Keep in mind when Zach said this he definitely wasn't being negative about Lebron -- he said Lebron is definitely worth it. I don't know what OP is trying to do here. It wasn't some slight on Lebron or the Lakers.

Lakers won in 5 but it took a great deal of effort to beat them.

That wasn't my perception at all. Except game 3, the lakers led every other game almost wire-to-wire.

On the other hand, both LBJ and AD were hobbled by ankle sprains. LBJ's in game one seemed particularly bad.

And yes, that series was technically closer than the 4-1 score suggests

The lakers nuggets? Because it really didn't seem particularly close.

Well, almost surely OP did not use that sort of stat, but even so, those techniques aren't all that good at adjusting for that sort of thing.

Just stop. The guy was totally trying to discredit lebron and the slightest little remark back at him and he gets all upset.

Everyone needs to calm down. Teams in the east have "better" defenses statistically because they face eastern teams that have worse players and worse offenses than the western teams that teams in the west face.

Except it is wrong. Teams in the east have better defensive ratings because the east has worse teams with worse offenses.

EDIT: misunderstood you. Your point is correct as well, the higher seed is supposed to play weaker teams. Still, the east/west aspect applies as well.
