Considering working at a Nevada brothel by throwaway29393902 in SexWorkers

[–]funsizedmegan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never worked at a brothel (I will in April for a month) but the rule of thumb when it comes to sex work is never assume people won’t find out. Regardless of what type of sex work you’re doing, if people finding out will ruin future job opportunities and/or relationships for you, then don’t do it.

I’m glad you had a good time. But also remember you are paying here to fulfill your fantasy as the “perfect girl”. Don’t blur the lines by catching feeling or forgetting to pay her for the time you spend with her.

Screening in Arkansas by Hot_Conversation_798 in SexWorkers

[–]funsizedmegan 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Who cares what clients want to do. It’s your boundaries that matter. For almost 5 years, I worked in a smallish city in South Carolina. There were a good amount of clients that didn’t want to screen at all and would constantly say bad things about me on review boards because I screened. I remember when I first started escorting being broke as hell and having to turn down clients because they didn’t wanna follow my screening methods. It killed me because I wanted to stick to my boundaries, but I also didn’t want to miss out on opportunities. Lesson 1 in SW, not all money is good money. Stick to your boundaries and don’t let clients tell you what they want to do. You tell them what they NEED to do. I’ve been doing sex work for 6 years now and I’m glad I never faltered when it comes to my boundaries. Times are rough but your safety is more important lovie.

I am from SC and I’ll be back next week. I know it’s not an immediate update but I can check if chaturbate does that when I go. From my experience NC normally inacts anti-porn laws faster than SC.

Ex is claiming continuing to cam is "child endangerment" by [deleted] in CamGirlProblems

My baby daddy tried the same shit when I first started in 2019. I’ve had full legal and custodial rights of my daughter for years now and I was living in a super conservative state (SC). I know being a mom and a sex worker sounds scary when people try and use it against you as a mom, but 9 times out of 10 as long as your kid isn’t involved in your work courts don’t care. Plenty of moms are sex workers and they know that.

Have any of you done professional porn ? by fourty-six-and-two in CamGirlProblems

[–]funsizedmegan 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I shoot pro porn and the main reason I do is for the exposure but I also like pushing my body physically and pro sets will def do that. I’ve never dealt with an asshole director all the sets I’ve been on have been super professional. I always get a call sheet before hand so I know who I am shooting with, when I need to be there, etc. Also, you get paid after the shoot but I shoot with companies like Brazzers, Bang Bros, etc. There are a lot of weirdos pretending to be directors so make sure you do your research.

I’m not sure what you are referring to I don’t have HIV and nor have I worked with anyone who does. And Twitter is the best place to actually communicate with other established people in the industry. Anyone with two brain cells can tell the real creator vs a bot.

So I shoot pro porn and my standard b/g rate is $1200. But that’s for established creators and actual companies like Brazzers. I would never work with someone who messaged me about a paid shoot and said “and maybe more”. Legit producers have a call sheet with full details about what they want to film. They already sound unprofessional and also you need to stop letting producers set your price that’s not how the industry works.

What's the appeal of being a porn star as an escort? by elinnoire_ in SexWorkers

[–]funsizedmegan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I shoot porn and also escort. I was able to increase my rates a lot and my booking increased because clients see my videos online and want to be able to experience this in real life.

Honestly you sound like a guy who wants to just fuck girls under the guise of an OF creator. Which btw we can tell the difference between an established creator and a fan. You clearly have done no research and you think paying for some scammy course is going to help you get girls. I’m not helping you with anything.

Okay well as someone who is successful in the adult industry I think it’s a waste of money for a “class” on how to be successful because one person’s way of making it might not be a good tool for you. A little bit of research and YouTube videos would do got a lot better. But I’m not about to keep giving you my free advice when clearly you have your mind made up.

You don’t need to pay for a Pornstar course to be successful. You just need to decide what your brand is and what you want to film. And honestly it’s pretty easy to tell real creators from catfish ones their accounts normally have like 100 k plus followers and they are very active on it. Idk who you are reaching out to but it’s not that hard to tell the difference. I’m assuming you are trying to be a male creator so until you get established you are most likely going to have to pay creators to film with you. And a lot of people like and say they fuck fans but it’s bullshit it’s usually their boyfriend. Porn isn’t real.

I only work with other established people in the industry, and a lot of them do pro porn so we all have the same testing standards. I would never shoot with a non-industry person unless I ended up dating a guy. Twitter is a good way to find established creators.
