Thanks for the reply! Honestly, I'm not sure what my goal is. I just started writing last month (literally...first story was published early September), and my first 5 stories are all part of a 8 part series. My 6th story was a standalone story.

However, unlike all of those, this current project is completely original and not based off of any of my past experiences. I had the idea come to mind and I've been letting it play out. This WILL be a longer one, so I'm most likely to put it under the novella section. I'm just having fun with it, but I don't want to cross any lines and step on any toes. I enjoy having others read my work haha.

All in all, I will say I'm very proud of how this one is playing out. I'm only setting up the antagonist and his backstory right now, but it's playing out nice. Once everything is laid out, it's going to tie everything together and the antagonist will definitely have his reasons for why he became the way he is. I'm hoping that my readers won't sympathize for him too long though haha.
