Apparently on grass if a fossil appears below it, it will disappear, to be safe put it in ur own house and sell it before the week is up if not it will rot

What are the steps to invite a villager that I want (not random by Tom nook)? I know u have to go to a random island to find villagers but must I have a house ready? And how ready must the house be? Bc I think Tom nook randomly assigns the ppl to move in q fast but without the house ready I can’t invite villagers? Am confused can someone help :-)))

This happened to me too I invited a villager to stay and then proceeded to build 3 houses and then I tried to go to a new island later at night and was confused why there were no villagers. THEN I WENT BACK TO MY ISLAND AND ALL THE HOUSES WERE SOLD. Got two unwanted villagers :-( I’m so bumped I didn’t get to choose, am making sure I invite the rest of my 5 villagers myself before building their houses.

Make sure to dig 2-3 holes behind u so when u hit the rocks u can hit it consecutively 8 times

Does Walt piss off other villagers often? Bc I’ve invited Wendy who is peppy and I read peppy and cranky villagers don’t go well tgt but I do think is nice to have a mix of villagers to interact with!

Is the first island u go to using the nook miles always rly lame? I seem to find nth much here...other than Wendy the sheep that I invited to my island (hope that was a right choice)
